Allowing the light and others in: ANOTHER MILESTONE

I finally have connected with a professional artist whose education, skills, personality, and reputation allowed me to interview or consult with her and also give her very constructive critique of my artwork. She not only was capable of giving me exact areas to improve, but also give a little lesson and resources to help me. She gave me the push I needed and have been searching for this year.

I also have found artist interviews online via social media: Instagram, YouTube, and fakebook. During live interviews, I've submitted questions that sometimes get asked and answered.

I'm filling a notebook with notes.

I'm filling another notebook with questions.

I've gotten a sketchbook with additional notes, some directed to a specific work that came off the sketch page and up on a large ambitious canvas.

With every step I take, with every move I make, for every milestone I hit, it's like an accordian of other steps, moves, questions, and more expand out in front of me.

Being on an artist journey is being on an endless one.

There is no end in sight, and the journey itself is the treasure you seek.
